Venya follows Maya's looks pretty closely except she's a bit taller - whereas Maya averages 5' 5" Venya's 5' 7". She also tends to wear a lot less.

Background

Venya was one of teh girlies who was kidnapped from el oracle training. Thus, she doesn't remember her original family but can remember the state they lived in in Arunafeltz. Thus, she was ever eternally grateful to Vadim, and while they lived as a family in Hugel would help mother the younger ones, and in general, stepped into her role of grateful helper nicely. She spent a good deal of time bathing, changing, and otherwise, sitting with the infant, as the infant was of course infantile - Vadim had his hands full just being a father to all of them, the least she could do was take care of Eresh and the infant. With this in mind, when Vadim was killed and the girls scattered, she made a break for both Eresh and the infant first. She failed with the infant, but managed to save herself, and leaving with Eresh and Pero, wandered to begin a new life. During this time Venya developed a habit of night-walking - these night-walks were to remind her of the fact she could.

Even at her worst, she'd take a walk and feel better, because she still could. She could remember so distinctly in her training that that's what upset her. She could never go out and walk, especially when the stars were out.

So with this determination, she set out for their new life. Sewing. Cooking. Cleaning. (though the last two she is absolutely terrible at, sad to say, though through determination and practice she has managed not to leave bras sitting on the couch anymore.)

But oh, oh, their new life was hard to achieve. Firstly, she and Pero began by working at a factory in Einbroch, one owned by a certain Swane family. Their labor was intensive and kept them up to late hours, but it was all so that eventually they could give themselves a better life. This toiling work to Venya wasn't much, though - so enamoured with the freedom she'd originally been given and the idea that now that Vadim had died for them it was her job to live to the biggest and best in his place, she took care of her sisters still mindlessly, working her fingers to the bone to make sure they were all right. Finally, upon making aqquaintances with a certain Edison Swane, their luck seemed to turn around.

When Edison was sent to the Gunslinger academy, so too were Eresh, Venya, and Pero. And when the girls graduated, so too did their lives begin to change - the trio stayed in Lighthalzen for a short time, gathering their bearings, before they set off to begin work as bounty hunters - but Venya, taking whatever cut she had, would still send her money back to Edison in hopes that she could finally repay him for all he'd done for them. On a job in Al De, Venya practiced her nightwalking to an almost glorious epiphany - a small girl seemed to be wandering, attempting to communicate but finding no hope. Without thinking she approached her, and when the girl turned out to be deaf, took her home after a series of nods and gestures were finally compromised upon.

Venya took it to her own self to tutor the girl in communication, and as such, understands Niamh very well. Niamh, being a healer, fit well into their little unit.

It remains that Venya has not had much time or desire to do much else other than her job, eat tasty sweet-buns, and protect her family.
